I’ve been working very hard today to try to get this blog to you all! I feel so much excitement and suspense about this one because everything about these images just make me so happy! This is definitely the largest blog I’ve ever put together because every single picture makes my heart swell so much that it was impossible to narrow the images down to a reasonable number!
The Halton Region Museum in Milton is absolutely stunning. The colour and vibrance and texture are enough to make a photographer cry! The raw emotion that these two shared with each other and with their families was so contagious and hard to hold in! As you will notice from the images below, Kate and Ryan had originally set out to have their ceremony privately with only their brothers with them to witness. While they still held true to this decision, in the end the two of them decided to surprise their family by inviting them down to the river for “portraits”, only to find the Bride and Groom waiting for them and they finished the second half of their ceremony surrounded by their most special loved ones. The moment was so intense and so pure and I have never felt such a collective energy in any other ceremony I’ve been to. It truly was incredible.
Top that off with a rowdy crowd of hilarious and fun party animals to end the night with a bang and I would have to say that it can’t get much better than that!
Thank you Kate and Ryan for welcoming me into your life! You two are such a wonderful couple and I’m so glad I got to celebrate the most important day of your lives with you!
