“When I say I want to photograph someone, what it really means is that I’d like to know them. Anyone I know I photograph.” – Annie Leibovitz. I first read that quote in College and it always stuck with me because I could identify so well with that statement.
It’s not a secret that missing my best friend’s wedding this holiday season was emotionally devastating for me. I had a lot of mental prep time to come to terms with it, but still found myself in rough shape during the month before her big day.
Yesterday, upon my return to Canada, the happy new couple did something more special for me than they could ever realize; They let me offer them wedding photography in Guelph.
To be my muse is to connect with me in a way above anything else. It filled the sadness of missing them and gave me the gift of having a true outlet to savour their love and beauty in their stunning wedding attire.
